One hundred years of village football, played in green and white at The Paddock. Here is who we are and where we came from.
Who we are
A village club with deep roots
Ashcombe Rovers has been part of village life since 1923. We are a grassroots club, run by volunteers, for the players and families of Ashcombe and the villages around it.
Today the club fields a men's first team and reserves, a women's team, and a youth section from under 7 to under 16. About 240 players wear the green and white. In 2026 the first team lifted the Somerset County Cup, our first since 1987, and we renewed our FA Charter Standard the same year.
